I have actively been participating in severe storm research for 10 years including field data collection, severe storm & tornado data analysis, and data acquisition system design and construction. I have participated in the following severe storm & tornado research projects:

STEPS 2000: Mobile mesonet driver.

UNC Mobile Mesonet: Mobile mesonet instrument package and data acquisition system design and build (as seen in the picture above), 2002.

Project ANSWERS 2003: Mobile mesonet team leader.

TWISTEX 2009: Redesigned & reprogrammed the mobile mesonet data acquisition systems, part-time Mobile Mesonet vehicle field participant, Atmospheric Scientist.

TWISTEX 2010: Data acquisition upgrade, full-time Probe vehicle field participant, Atmospheric Scientist.
